Аннотация
Изложены современные представления, классификация и диагностические критерии мозжечковых атаксий позднего возраста со спорадическим началом, рассмотрены особенности клиники, диагностики и лечения симптоматических (вторичных) нейродегенеративных процессов мозжечка, дана характеристика патогенетических и морфологических аспектов развития локальных атрофических процессов церебеллярной коры у лиц позднего возраста. Предложен термин «симптоматические церебеллопатии» для обозначения вторичных приобретенных церебеллярных дегенераций, который позволяет различать приобретенные локальные кортикальные атрофические поражения мозжечка и собственно дегенеративные спиноцеребеллярные заболевания наследственного и идиопатического характера.
