Abstract
A very important challenge in the membrane science is to improve the transport properties of membranes by means of various treatment methods. The review, using the example of homogeneous perfluorinated membranes, discusses the causes of changes in these properties by heat treatment at different water activities, mechanical treatment, and introduction of nanoparticles of various materials into their matrix.
