In 40 patients with thoracic and combined scoliosis of III and IV degrees, the loading of both legs during standing and walking was determined using Kistler dynamometric platforms. The results of the studies and analysis of posture characteristics allowed the authors to distinguish two options for compensating for the imbalance in the body that occurs during the formation of the primary curvature of the spine. A number of provisions are made regarding the pathogenesis of scoliosis, predicting the course of the disease, as well as treatment
