The epidemiological situation in the zones of local armed conflicts is characterized, as a rule, by a pronounced problem with intestinal and parasitic infections (viral hepatitis A and E, dysentery, typhoid fever, amoebiasis, malaria, etc.), which predetermines the possibility of the wounded being admitted to medical institutions at different periods development of an infectious disease.
