Abstract
During the period from April 1992 to 1994 inclusive, operations using arthroscopic technique were performed on 50 patients in the traumatology department of the medical unit of Zheleznogorsk. Diagnostic and operative arthroscopy was performed using the Karl Storz device in the operating room, in full compliance with the rules of asepsis and antisepsis. According to the indications, spinal anesthesia, intravenous or (in some cases) endotracheal anesthesia were used.
