Abstract

Modern methods for the treatment of patients with dysplastic (idiopathic) scoliosis were divided into two groups: basic, i.e. main methods, and auxiliary/additional ones. The presented division enabled to standardize medical technology for the management of patients with dysplastic scoliosis using the optimal protocol for each patient, to realize the rational application of separate method taking into account the efficacy of perf ormed procedures and disease progression as well as to provide the treatment succession in patients under different conditions and at different hospitals.
