Abstract

A technique of reducing the error of measurements of the angular rate by means of stands for specifying angular rates is described. It is shown that the error can be reduced by integrating information from several sensors. Expressions for estimating the angular rate by the maximum likelihood method relative to the indicators of each of the sensors are presented. The technique is based on obtaining an integral estimate of the angular rate of the platform of the stand. Results of simulation modeling of the dynamic behavior of the stand that confirm the usefulness of the proposed technique are analyzed.
