Abstract

A method of free-field calibration in a laboratory hydroacoustic tank is examined. The method can be applied both for the hydrophone proper, and for the hydroacoustic receiver, a hydrophone installed on a measurement platform. Results are presented for calibration of a hydrophone and a hydroacoustic recorder in the laboratory tank at frequencies from several of kHz to tens of Hz.
