Abstract

A method is proposed that makes it possible to increase the period of coherent accumulation of signals reflected from objects, in order to increase the operating range of a radar station with linear frequencymodulated continuous wave under conditions of range cell migration. The range and radial velocity of an object are calculated with the condition that the change in distance to it during the modulation significantly exceeds the resolution of the radar station at that range. An assessment of the potential accuracy of the estimates is conducted, and results of experimental verification of the proposed method are presented.
