Abstract
It is shown that as a result of changes in mass and elastic properties of the film based on latex and activated carbon, under the influence of acetone vapor, the resonance frequency of the quartz resonator increases by an order above the usually observed in quartz microbalances. Characteristics of the acetone vapor sensor implemented based on this effect are given.
