Abstract

A calibration algorithm and formulas are obtained for evaluating the effect on the measurement accuracy of deviations in the characteristics of the components of the input path of a microwave radiometer from the nominal values. The limits on changes in the temperature of the input circuit and noise temperature of the receiver such that the changes in the output signal do not exceed the fluctuation sensitivity of the radiometer are determined.
