Control of Degradation of Construction Materials in the Course of Use for the Case of String Elements

Abstract

Features in metrological assurance of the parameters of construction materials used in machine-building components in the course of service are considered. An analysis of existing approaches to testing of samples, including studies of internal friction, is conducted. A phase chronometer method of measurement of the properties of construction materials over time using a harmonic oscillator as an example is proposed. An alternative approach to estimation of the residual life is proposed.
