Particulars of the Formation of Luminescent and Plasmon Nanoparticles of Gold in Phosphate Glass

Abstract

It is shown that gold nanoclusters and nanoparticles, possessing luminescence and plasmon properties depending on size, can form in potassium-aluminum-phosphate glass as a result of heat-treatment at temperatures below Tg.
