Abstract
The need for caterpillar tractors in russian agro-industrial complex is 675,9 thousand units. However, the tendency to reduce their number in the fleet remains the same, in spite of the fact that they often have no alternative in field, especially when soil condition doesn't allow to use wheeled machines.
