Radioecological description of the soil–plant cover and water objects within the impact zone of the Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant

Аннотация

The work considers the accumulation and redistribution of ¹³⁷Cs and ⁶⁰Co among the components of natural ecosystems (soils, bottom sediments, surface waters, and plants of different ecological groups (mesophytes, hygrophytes, hydrophytes, and hydathophytes)) within the impact zone of the Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant. It is shown that the current radioecological situation on this territory is satisfactory. Each of the studied parameters complies with the radiation safety standards.
