Abstract
The cause-and-effect relationships between degradation processes are revealed, and their development under different agricultural use conditions is shown based on a study of soils of the Akhty Mountain and Valley Agricultural Experimental Station. The DPSIR concept (Driving forces–Pressure–State–Impact–Response) has revealed the main factors of the currently increasing soil degradation at the station.
