Abstract

The paper presents the results of studies related to the characteristics of reconstructed archive muon events of the LVD experiment located in the Gran Sasso Laboratory. The reconstruction of the direction of atmospheric muons was carried out using the detector¢stracking system, which operated on two towers since 1999 to 2002. The distributions of specific energy losses in the detector are presented depending on the soil thickness and the zenith angle of the reconstructed muons.
