Abstract
The paper presents the methods and the calculation results for the flow around a prospective descent module and physicochemical processes in the flow field near the vehicle in the aerodynamic braking mode in the Martian atmosphere. The boundary conditions and the models of chemical processes corresponding to the actual conditions of entering the planet’s atmosphere are investigated.
