Comparative Analysis of the Mechanical Properties of the Friction Stir Welding Joints of Various Aluminum Alloys

Abstract

The technological features of friction stir welding of the most widely used aluminum alloys, namely, Al–Si, Al–Mg, and Al–Mg–Mn, are considered and generalized. The structure and the mechanical properties of the welded joints of these alloys are analyzed.
