First Finding of Kuril Melamphaid Fish Poromitra curilensis (Melamphaidae) in the Southeastern Pacific Ocean

Abstract

The first catch of Kuril melamphaid fish Poromitra curilensis is conducted in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. The species has been described before only from the catches in the temporal zone of the northern Pacific Ocean.
