Abstract
The type specimens of Chivatschella orotschensis Zavodowsky, 1968 from the Upper Permian of North-East Asia were restudied using X-ray microtomography. The study revealed previously unknown narrow spondylium in the ventral valve and thickened septum and wide open septalium in the dorsal valve. Based on the new data the monotypic genus Chivatschella Zavodowsky, 1968 is referred to the subfamily Psilocamarinae, family Psilocamaridae, superfamily Stenoscismatoidea (order Rhynchonellida).
