Abstract

The shell microstructure of Kabanoviella obliterata from the Late Hauterivian of the Boreal Basin of Russian Platform was studied. The most part of its primary finely crystalline layer is composed of curved plates. The plate walls are joined to form a net composed of rhombic, rarely loop-shaped meshes. The upper part of secondary fibrous layer is capillate. The fibrous layer contains several prismatic sublayers.
