Abstract

A new brachiopod species, Leurosina katasumiensis sp. nov. (order Chonetida, family Rugosochonetidae, subfamily Rugosochonetinae), is described from the Kungurian Stage (Lower Permian, Nabeyama Formation) of central Japan.
