Abstract
Protocopidosoma kononovae gen. et sp. nov. from Danish amber is described. The specimen is very similar to representatives of the extant genus Copidosoma Ratzeburg, 1844 and differs from them in the long and wide veins in the forewing, as in most encyrtids from Late Eocene European ambers.
