Abstract
Results of studies of structural changes in welded joints of steel 15Kh11MFB after homogenizing followed by heat refining are analyzed. It is shown that homogenizing at 1150°C lowers substantially the content of δ-ferrite in the structure of the steel and raises its ductile and plastic characteristics by more than a factor of 2 without changing the strength properties.
