New value of the enthalpy of formation of ScF3 molecules

Using the thermodynamic properties of scandium trifluoride, calculated on the basis of new experimental data on heat capacity, the enthalpy of sublimation of scandium trifluoride ScF₃(cr) was found. The combination of this quantity with the accepted value of the enthalpy of ScF₃(cr) formation leads to a refined value of the enthalpy of ScF₃(g) formation.
