Abstract
A new subspecies Dioctria meridionalis dagestanicasubsp. n. from Daghestan is described with photographs of details of the external structures and male genitalia, based on the collection of the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). Lectotype of Dioctria meridionalis Bezzi, 1898, described from Italy, is designated in the collection of the Zoological Institute, St. Petersburg, and its photographs are provided.
