Resumo
Results are provided for statistical analysis of corrosion damage of fuel oil pipelines and storage tanks. It is shown that the fastest tank corrosion rate is observed in the lower and upper bands. Metal corrosion rate for these bands reaches 0.09 mm/yr and 0.025 mm/yr for central bands. Fuel oil pipeline corrosion rate is in the range from 0.002 to 0.079 mm/yr, and the average corrosion rate is 0.032 mm/yr.
