Abstract

A mathematical model describing the processes of drying and concentration of methanol using molecular sieve properties of zeolites is presented. A new approach to the design and calculation of adsorption plants for the separation of binary systems is proposed. Dependences are given that describe the high-speed characteristics of a binary system using the Rittinger formula for turbulent flow regimes of a water–methanol mixture.
