Аннотация
Исследовано совместное влияние электролиза и ультразвука на популяцию бактерий E. coli в водном растворе сульфата натрия. Определена кинетика инактивации бактерий при применении этих методов для очистки воды. Показано, что совместное действие ультразвуковой и электрохимической обработки водного раствора значительно увеличивает скорость инактивации бактерий. Высказано предположение, что за гибель бактерий ответственны гидроксильные радикалы, образующиеся в процессе комбинированной обработки. Установлена корреляция между скоростью образования гидроксильных радикалов и скоростью инактивации бактерий.
