Abstract
We suggest an algorithm to optimize reliability of an electric power system. The algorithm uses the averaged dual estimates of power generation and power flow constraints. The average values of dual estimates are found by analyzing electric power system reliability. The developed algorithm is based on the enumeration of alternative system reconfiguration scenarios, while the study of average dual estimates allows to reduce the number of scenarios considered. Finally, we present the results of numeric simulations.
