Theoretical and Applied Aspects of Automating Multivariate Analysis Procedures

Syuntyurenko O.V.

Abstract

This paper addresses some important theoretical and applied aspects of modern computer science that are associated with analytical processing of scientific, technical, and economic information. The main trends in using automated non-parametric procedures for logical and mathematical processing of arrays (flows) of digital data are discussed. Some methodological aspects of developing new technological approaches and algorithms for analytical post-processing that allow one to design a wide range of multi-step procedures for assessment and multivariate analysis of scientific, technical, and economic data based on polygram estimation of functionals are considered. It is shown that the procedures and algorithms based on these methods of non-parametric statistics and multivariate data analysis can be useful in various applications, including the development of analytical technologies for big data.

A Bibliometric Approach to the Development Dynamics of Some Topical Trends in Robotics

Soloshenko N.S., Pronina T.A., Grechikov M.I., Shchuko Y.N.

Abstract

The evolution of the new topical trend for autonomous mobile robots is analyzed by bibliometric techniques. Publication activity indicators are identified. Changes in the number of authors, specialized information sources, and set key words and word collocations were considered. Some attention was paid to the citation rate of publications. The applied tools were the Scopus (Elsevier) abstract and citation database and the SciMago Journal Rank (SJR indicator) (Granada University, Spain), which uses information from the Scopus DB.

Using Structural Polymorphism in Creating Process-Based Management Information Systems

Shvedenko V.N., Shvedenko V.V., Shchekochikhin O.V.

Abstract

This article considers the creation of information support for process-based management of production systems on the basis of structural polymorphism. A review of polymorphism by types is presented and their strengths and weaknesses are given. Structural polymorphism is given a new definition that expands its capabilities. In the new proposed approach to creating information resources and software, structural polymorphism is used in the concept-based logical design of the system, as well as in the information support and software implementation phase.

The Structural Chemical Database of the All-Russian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information, Russian Academy of Sciences. An Autonomous System for Structural Searches

Trepalin S.V., Bessonov Y.E., Fel’dman B.S., Kochetova E.V., Churakova N.I., Koroleva L.M.

Abstract

A system is described that provides autonomous searching for information by various characteristics of chemical compounds in the Structural Chemical Database of the All-Russian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Examples of a search and the prospects for further development of the system are given.

Systematization and Identification of Semantic Relations in Ontologies for Scientific and Technical Subject Areas

Maksimov N.V., Gavrilkina A.S., Andronova V.V., Tazieva I.A.

Abstract

This article presents a relations taxonomy constructed on the basis of a conceptual framework, as well as methods of identifying semantic relations that are used for automatically constructing ontologies of subject areas. A predicate lexicon that corresponds to relation types is established through automatically processing a collection of scientific and technical document texts. Patterns of linguistic constructions of semantic relations are constructed in a way that considers morphological features of words and morphemes. Statistics of types of relations and the use of patterns depending on the document type are studied.

Knowledge Discovery in Social Research

Mikheyenkova M.A., Klimova S.G.

Abstract

The paper deals with knowledge discovery tools that represent the formalization of research heuristics for the qualitative analysis of sociological data. The results of studying various forms of constructive social activities of citizens using the JSM Socio intelligent system, which implements the proposed tools, are presented. Significant differences in some characteristics of social behavior of representatives of various nominal groups, in particular, political and civic activists are revealed.
