Abstract
One of the rare types of ovarian dermoid cysts is the form in which the fatty contents of the cyst look like separate balls floating in the liquid. In the literature available to us, we could collect only 23 cases of „dermoid balls: 19 cases are mentioned in the work of Plenz’a [1]), the rest belong to Lippertʹu [2]), prof. Timofeev [3]) (2 words), Poteenko [4]) and Kellendonk'u [5]). Cases Plenz'a and Kellendonk'a are the only ones studied from the chemical point of view, in terms of the composition of ball fat. We recently observed one case of this kind in the Gynecological Clinic of the Kazan Clinical Institute.
