Abstract

The author cites a case of duodeni ulcer observed by him, which could not be recognized during life, even during surgery, since the ulcer was placed on the part of the intestine closest to the liver and therefore unnoticeable for the investigator. Even if the ulcer was recognized, then the most expedient approach would be only the tamponade of the abdominal cavity around the ulcer in order to cause adhesions.
