Cases of the detention of a dead fetus in the uterus, according to the author, are not common: 8 cases have been reported in the last 3 years of the Elisavetgrad Medical Society. The case described here concerns a Jewish woman, 31 years old, suffering from tubercles of the lungs, giving birth 2 times and having an artificial miscarriage 2 times.
