Abstract
On October 12, 1891, a 22-year-old patient S. J. was admitted to the city hospital in Warsaw, who safely gave birth 12 days ago to a healthy girl, with signs of severe acute anemia and a colossal enlargement and swelling of the right large lip and pubic integument. The bladder is swollen and full of urine. With great difficulty, it was possible to find the opening of the urethra for catheterization through the mass of voluminous blood tumor. A foul-smelling discharge, yellowish in color, follows from the vagina. T ° - 40 ° C. Diagnosis — Endometritis puerpuralis et haematoma vulvae et vaginae post partum.
