APPLICATION OF INTEGRATED PROPRIOCEPTIVE CORRECTION IN MOTOR RECOVERY IN PATIENTS WITH STROKE
Abstract
We assessed the application of the proprioceptive correction method supporting stimulating foot massage "PIONt" and pull-suit "Regent" in medical rehabilitation of patients underwent spinal or cerebral strokes. The analysis of the neurological deficiency dynamics was performed; effectiveness of the neuro-rehabilitation predictors and mechanisms of proprioceptive correction method action were discussed. The significance of proprioceptive correction methods in a comprehensive restoration of neurologic function in stroke patients was shown.

MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM VALUE IN RECOVERY TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASES
Abstract
The results of a comprehensive clinical examination of 418 patients with various manifestations of cerebrovascular diseases (CVD) are analyzed. From the standpoint of functional disorders the analysis identified clinical manifestations CVD was performed and clarified their influence on the restriction of the fundamental types of activity. Multidisciplinary approach in restorative treatment and rehabilitation of patients with CVD is justified.

STRUCTURALLY-RESONANT ELECTRO- AND ELECTROMAGNETIC THERAPY IN TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC STROKE
Abstract
Possibility of structurally-resonant therapy (SRT) application on 108 patients with an ischemic stroke is studied. Research has shown that SRT use a combination with the traditional treatment in neurology has advantage in comparison with the standard therapy alone. This method allows to achieve improvement of laboratory indicators, restoration of pelvis functions up to 75% of patients already in first three days.Method increases patients mobility, their independence in an everyday life, improves quality of life.

PREVALENCE OF PROBLEM DRINKING AND ALCOHOL RELATED PROBLEMS AMONG TEAM SPORTS PLAYERS
Abstract
The aim of the present study was to assess the reasons and the pattern of alcohol consumption and the prevalence of alcohol related problems among professional soccer and basketball players. Psychometric instrument included Russian version of "AUDIT". The results demonstrated presence of significant alcoholization of sportsmen, which was reflected in the absence of responders abstaining from alcohol, preference for strong alcoholic beverages, high mean "AUDIT" score (7,4 ± 3,1) and alcohol consumption (401,7 ± 271,2 ml of ethanol per month). About one third of sportsmen consumed alcohol at dangerous level. The typical pattern of alcohol consumption was characterized by frequent intake of alcohol and consumption of 5 and more drinks on a typical day of drinking. About 93% of athletes experienced alcohol related problems.

KIDNEYS AND UPPER URINARY TRACT ULTRASONOGRAPHIC DATA IN CHRONIC SPINAL CORD INJURY PATIENTS
Abstract
The results of comprehensive study of kidneys and upper urinary tract uro-ultrasonographic data in174 chronic patients after spinal cord injury (SCI) are presented. It shows that neurourological pathological changes are frequently supported by uroinfection, firstly pyelonephritis (32%). Nephrolithiasis was diagnosed in 11,5% patients. Concrement's minimal diameter was diagnosed in 19% with their self-discharge in 12,6%. Varying degrees of hydronephrosis was diagnosed in 17,2% and cysts in 7%. The frequency/severity of neurourological changes depends on the time after SCI, the degree of neurological deficit, type of urinary excretion and pressure sores.

VITAMINS AND MINERALS AS AN ALTERNATIVES TO REDUCE THE SYMPTOMS OF MENOPAUSE AFTER OOPHORECTOMY IN WOMEN OVER 45 YEARS OLD
Abstract
Menopause is an unavoidable change that every woman will experience, assuming she reaches middle age and beyond. An early menopause can be related to the surgical removal of the uterus and/or both ovaries. The article presents the main evaluation of the clinical severity and characteristics of the menopausal syndrome after oophorectomy. Our experience has shown that vitamins and minerals, as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy reduces the severity of menopause symptoms. They play a central role in many body processes for menopausal women. Studies have linked it to preventing heart disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, cancer and weight gain. If that seems like a lot of prevention in one little vitamin, it is. The problem, though, is that as many as half of adults are deficient in vitamines and minerals and are therefore their minimum dose is not benefiting. Therefore, initiation of therapy always requires high doses of vitamins and minerals.

ENDOVASCULAR AORTIC ANEURYSM REPAIR AS A CHOICE METHOD IN PATIENTS WITH HIGH RISK OF COMPLICATIONS
Abstract

Abstract
In the article new views on some questions concerning classifications, surgical treatment and features of intensive therapy of peritonitis are presented. The special attention is attracted to correct estimation of patients severity level depending on which antibacterial therapy has been chosen. The general principle of antibacterial therapy consists that than patient's condition is heavier, more powerful and less toxic antibacterial drugs should be applied. Successful treatment of a peritonitis demands at the present stage of medicine development from the doctor of profound knowledge on the given problem and the interdisciplinary approach at its decision.
