«Родной язык - татарский». Культура мордвы-каратаев как пример межэтнического взаимодействия

Аннотация

Каратаи - этнографическая группа мордвы, исторически проживающая в Камско-Устьинском районе Татарстана, родным языком которых является татарский. Многовековая история этой локальной группы является примером активного межэтнического взаимодействия в Поволжье. В этнографической и диалектологической литературе рассмотрены различные аспекты истории, материальной и духовной культуры, языка каратаев. В их числе - анализирующие гипотезы происхождения каратаев, учитывая очевидную мишарскую лексику их языка; изучающие современный ареал расселения; особенности самоидентификации. Особое внимание уделяется материалам Мордовской этнографической экспедиции, изучавшей быт и традиции каратаев в 1950-х годах под руководством известного ученого В.Н. Белицер.
