Большой Средиземноморский региональный комплекс безопасности: миф или реальность?

Аннотация

Изучение региональных измерений, в том числе места отдельных регионов в системе международных отношений играет немаловажную роль в рамках осмысления процессов формирования нового многополярного миропорядка. Одним из важных регионов, безусловно, является Большое Средиземноморье, которое по праву считается колыбелью цивилизации. Располагаясь на перекрестке Азии, Африки и Европы, Большое Средиземноморье имеет особый статус в глобальных торгово-экономических и политических событиях. Автор дает определение понятию Большого Средиземноморья, анализируя его в краткосрочной, среднесрочной и долгосрочной перспективах и, соответственно, в узком региональном, широком региональном и глобальном масштабах, затем рассматривая Большое Средиземноморье с точки зрения теории регионального комплекса безопасности. Цель исследования заключается в выявлении территории, которую охватывает Большое Средиземноморье, а также типа регионального комплекса безопасности, в который оно входит. Поскольку среди российских и зарубежных ученых нет четкого и единого мнения относительно того, в каких географических границах находится данный регион и что он представляет собой, теоретическое обоснование позволяет автору не только определить пределы региона, но также дать его характеристику, что, в свою очередь, обусловливает актуальность данной работы. В заключении делается вывод, что Большое Средиземноморье является региональным комплексом безопасности глобального уровня, включающим такие государства, как Россия, Франция, Великобритания, играющие важную роль на международной арене, а также Турцию, Италию, Израиль и Иран, обладающие значительными возможностями, которые превосходят потенциал их непосредственных соседей.
