COMPETITIVENESS OF FEMALE GYMNASTS ON VAULT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 2025–2028 OLYMPIC CYCLE
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the competitiveness of the world's leaders on vault at the beginning of the Olympic cycle based on the results and difficulty of vaults performed at major competitions in 2025.
Research methods and organization: a comparative analysis of the "Vault" section of the Code of Points for the Olympic cycles 2022–2024 and 2025–2028; an analysis of the results of finalists on vault and the difficulty of executed vaults at continental championships and the 2025 World Cup in comparison with the results of leading Russian gymnasts at the Russian Cup and the “Cup of the Stongest”; expert evaluation of vaults performed by finalists in major 2025 competitions, based on materials available on Internet resources.
Research results and conclusions. It has been determined that at the post-Olympic 2025 World Championships in Jakarta, the leaders of the European and Pan-American championships on vault will be the main contenders for victory and prize positions. This is primarily due to the fact that they all have the same level in terms of difficulty (D score) of their two final vaults. The decisive factor will be the quality of their execution (E score) and the presence of bonus (0.2 points). However, the level of the leaders at the beginning of the Olympic cycle is significantly lower than the finalists of the Paris Olympics on vault. Russian female gymnasts have a chance to qualify for the final, but not to win in this event.

RESEARCH ON THE MOTIVATIONAL COMPONENT OF SPORTS TRAINING AMONG HIGHLY QUALIFIED MARTIAL ARTISTS
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the motivational component of training highly qualified martial artists at the preparatory stage of the training process.
Research methods and organization. The study was conducted at higher education institutions in the city of Omsk. Research methods included analysis of scientific and methodological literature, psychological testing of athletes, and statistical analysis. For assessing the motivation of highly qualified martial artists, the study employed the methodologies of A.V. Shaboltas and I.V. Tropnikov.
Research results. It has been found that the dominant motive among the surveyed kickboxers is the motive of personal prestige, while among practitioners of other martial arts, the motive is the emotional enjoyment derived from practicing the sport. This difference may be associated with the high emotional intensity in kickboxing, rigorous competition, public exposure, and the pursuit of recognition, whereas practitioners of other martial arts are more focused on self-discovery and their inner state, which is particularly significant for Thai boxing, judo, and aikido. The study also established that the need for material benefits is the primary reason among various factors motivating individuals to continue practicing their chosen sport. As athletes advance in skill, there is a shift in the leading motivational factors. At the initial stage of a sports career, the need for social interaction and approval predominates; however, as proficiency increases, the motive of acquiring life-useful skills and abilities becomes more relevant. In both groups studied, with the growth of sports mastery, there were observed trends towards the development of coaching skills, the formation of the athlete's personality, an understanding of the specifics of the training process, and the need for comprehensive knowledge and skills for future career advancement as an athlete or coach.
Conclusions. The analysis of athletes' motivation reveals the diverse needs of athletes across different types of martial arts, both in terms of content and choice priority. However, all athletes' motives, in one way or another, point to the necessity of self-actualization and the improvement of their well-being, regardless of their specialization.

ON THE ISSUE OF STANDARDIZING THE VOLUME OF WEEKLY MOTOR ACTIVITY FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to compare the weekly motor activity levels of children with intellectual disabilities with the requirements and recommendations of regulatory documents on physical education and sports.
Research methods and organization. Methods used included the analysis of regulatory documents, examination of medical record extracts, a rapid assessment of health indicators according to Apanasenko, and a week-long heart rate monitoring using individual wearable devices. Heart rate indicators and the duration of time spent in pulse zones of varying intensity were recorded over a week in schoolchildren aged 12–14 with mild intellectual impairment.
Research results and conclusions. The monitoring data were compared with the health status of the participants, and it was determined that, when performing almost all variants of the recommended motor activity volume, the health of the surveyed schoolchildren corresponds to the following levels: low, below average, and average. This can be attributed to the fact that the dominant pulse zones during the implemented load are those of low and moderate intensity. This fact confirms the insufficiency of solely temporal and quantitative characteristics as a basis for weekly physical activity recommendations, adherence to which can create conditions for health-promoting and developmental effects, and underlines the relevance of the approach developed by the authors for the correction of these norms.

THE INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS ON THE QUANTITATIVE PARAMETERS OF NORDIC WALKING AND THE PHYSIOLOGICAL COST OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND HEALTH ACTIVITIES IN MIDDLE-AGED WOMEN
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of weather temperature conditions on the quantitative parameters of Nordic walking and the physiological cost of physical education and health activities for women of middle-aged to older adulthood living in the northern region.
Research methods and organization. Analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature, examination of self-monitoring diaries, heart rate monitoring, and mathematical-statistical processing of results were applied. The study was conducted from February to June 2025 in Nizhnevartovsk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra). The subjects were women independently engaged in Nordic walking.
Research results and conclusions. Engaging in physical activity in conditions of low air temperature leads to an increased expenditure of physiological reserves in individuals practicing Nordic walking, manifested by higher heart rate values compared to activities conducted in comfortable conditions. An insufficient level of physical fitness does not allow for fully achieving the health benefits of independent Nordic walking sessions under mildly and moderately frosty weather conditions. The observed increase in step frequency during the cold season, while maintaining walking speed, requires further investigation. The obtained data should be taken into account when developing individualized physical education and health activities for older adults residing in northern regions.

Research results and conclusions. The integral initial (pre-class) indicator on the SAN questionnaire is characterized as favorable for both boys and girls. Before the class, boys have statistically significantly higher well-being, activity, mood, and integral indicator compared to girls. The positive dynamics of all indicators on the SAN questionnaire after swimming in girls and mood in boys, combined with the imbalance of these three indicators after the class in both boys and girls, suggest a developmental nature of the physical load that does not exceed the body's adaptation thresholds. It has been established that the SAN questionnaire is a quick and effective method for assessing workload during classes.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE HEADS OF OLYMPIC RESERVE SPORTS SCHOOLS REGARDING THE PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL QUALITIES OF SWIMMING COACHES
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to determine the priority professional and personal qualities of swimming coaches that are essential at the current stage for the heads of Olympic reserve sports schools (ORSS).
Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, survey in the form of questionnaires, methods of mathematical statistics.
Research results and conclusions. The most important professional and personal qualities of swimming coaches, identified through a survey of directors of specialized sports schools for Olympic reserves (ORSS), are presented. The highest ratings from the directors of swimming departments were given to professional qualities such as the ability to work in a team, knowledge of pedagogy and psychology, understanding the specifics of preparing athletes for competitions, and the ability to develop the necessary personal qualities in athletes. At the same time, according to ORSS directors, overall work experience and experience as a swimming coach, as well as the ability to develop methodological documentation, turned out to be the least significant qualities in a coach's work. The necessity for a coach, regardless of age and experience, to be innovative and strive for continuous self-development is substantiated.

DEMAND, SUPPLY AND COMPETITION IN THE MARKET OF ADDITIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICES IN THE FIELD OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS: PROFESSIONAL RETRAINING
Abstract
The modern market for educational services in the field of physical education and sports is characterized by high dynamism and increasing competition. One of its in-demand segments is professional retraining programs (PRPs), which in turn serve as a key tool for addressing the industry's staffing issues. In the context of digital transformation, the emergence of new sports professions, and new types of sports, PRPs demonstrate the greatest flexibility and adaptability to the targeted demands of the industry. However, the rapid growth of this segment also gives rise to a number of challenges: intensified competition among providers, the risk of declining quality of educational products, and the need for constant updating of program content.
The purpose of the study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current state and identify key trends in the market for professional retraining programs in the field of physical education and sports, based on the examination of the structure and dynamics of demand, supply, and the competitive environment, as well as pricing policies in the area of additional professional education.
Research methods: analysis of scientific-methodological and specialized literature, modern educational programs in additional education, regulatory documents, as well as labor market data and professional community requests; methods of systemic and comparative analysis.
Research results and conclusions. The structure and workforce motivation of consumer demand for professional retraining programs have been analyzed, and key target audiences, along with their personnel and competency needs, have been identified. The structure of additional professional education (APE) offerings in the field of physical education and sports on the Russian educational services market has been determined and studied; the main providers of educational services have been identified, and the content and forms of training of the implemented professional retraining programs have been analyzed. The main aspects of pricing policy in this area have been defined, examples of successful implementation of professional retraining programs have been presented, and their comparative analysis has been conducted in the context of the main challenges and prospects for the development of this segment of the educational services market.

CONSTRUCTIVE AND DESTRUCTIVE AGENTIC ACTIVITY AS A FACTOR IN THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SELF-REGULATION
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify the characteristics of the influence of constructive and destructive agentic parameters on mental self-regulation.
Research methods and organization. The study involved 104 athletes of both genders, with varying levels of sports proficiency, professionally practicing the martial art of Capoeira. The respondents were assessed using methodologies that diagnose regulatory parameters: "Behavioral Self-Regulation Style – 98" and constructive/destructive agentic qualities: "Personality Protest Activity," "Stress Coping Strategies," and "Psychosocial Maturity." Multiple regression analysis was used in the study.
Research results and conclusions. It has been established that constructive agentic activity, realized through assertiveness, emancipation, cognitive motivation, and self-determination, positively influences the parameters of conscious self-regulation and contributes to an individual's success in both professional and personal life. Negative personality traits generally hinder the realization of an individual’s regulatory potential. At the same time, antisocial behavior, negativism, opposition, and independence bordering on isolation can, in certain situations, form a destructive behavior pattern that helps cope with a complex situation 'here and now,' but is ineffective in the long term and in relationship-building. Attention is drawn to the significant contribution of negative personality traits to regulatory autonomy, which demonstrates the ambivalence of this personality characteristic. Individuals inclined toward hyper-independence are highly likely to exhibit emotional unavailability, conflict-proneness, irritability, and behavioral inflexibility.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONAL BURNOUT AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AMONG MID-LEVEL MEDICAL PERSONNEL
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the relationship between emotional burnout and emotional intelligence among nurses, depending on the length of their professional experience.
Research methods and organization: theoretical analysis of scientific literature, survey (questionnaire), the "Burnout Level Diagnostic" test and the "Emotional Intelligence" test, as well as the use of Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The study surveyed 165 nurses with professional experience in medicine ranging from 3 to 35 years.
Research results and conclusions. The study found that among nurses with 3–10 years of experience, there is a correlation between symptoms of emotional burnout (SEB) and the "intrapersonal aspect" of emotional burnout (EI): intense immersion in one's own feelings coupled with a lack of skills to regulate them; among nurses with 11–20 years of experience, SEB is associated with the "interpersonal aspect" of EI: the ability to manage others' emotions without a deep understanding of their internal state; among nurses with more than 21 years of experience, burnout symptoms are linked to the "intrapersonal aspect", manifested as high self-control without awareness of the content of emotions.

PERSONAL CONSTRUCTS AS A REFLECTION OF SUBJECTIVE MORAL EXPERIENCE IN THE CULTURE OF SPORTS BEHAVIOR
Abstract
The purpose of the study is the theoretical justification of the role of personal constructs as a reflection of subjective moral experience, which shapes the culture of an individual's sports behavior.
Research methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, induction, modeling.
Research results and conclusions. A preliminary model has been developed for the formation of a culture of sports behavior in an individual through the acquisition of subjective moral experience. It is proposed to use the repertory grid method as a diagnostic tool to assess the outcomes of the developed model, which identifies personal constructs based on the values that the athlete has adopted as their own.

AGE-SPECIFIC MANIFESTATIONS OF DISPOSITIONS TOWARDS VIOLENT EXTREMISM IN THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT
Abstract
The prevention of extremism in the academic environment is one aspect of ensuring the safety of the educational process and society as a whole. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is a person-centered approach, taking into account the value-semantic content of individuals' worldviews across different ages.
The purpose of the study is to identify the age-related characteristics of the manifestation of violent extremism dispositions in the educational environment and to assess the extent of these dispositions among students and teachers. Hypothesis: age affects the intensity of violent extremism dispositions, with adults exhibiting lower levels than young people.
Research methods and organization. The study involved university students and faculty members aged 18 to 64. Diagnostic tool: the method for diagnosing dispositions toward violent extremism by D.G. Davydov and K.D. Khlomov. Literary sources were also analyzed. Methods of mathematical statistics were applied.
Research results and conclusions. It has been found that the educational environment demonstrates a favorable picture according to the studied criterion: the average indicators of the manifestation of violent extremist dispositions in the sample are within normal ranges. The average levels of the expression of violent extremist traits in adolescent students (ages 18-21) are higher than those in the older group (over 30 years). This indicates that the expression of violent extremist dispositions decreases with age. The difference between the groups of young students (ages 22-30) and adults (over 30) proved to be insignificant. There is an age-specific pattern in the manifestation of violent extremist dispositions in the educational environment: extremist attitudes are more typical of adolescents. An individual approach is required in preventive work within educational institutions, taking into account the identified patterns of age-related distribution of these dispositions.
