Abstract

Present-day approaches to problems of substantiating the possibility of further operation of power equipment after long accumulated operating time in the presence of defects and deviations from the requirements of the standards are presented for the example of rotors of powerful turbine generator sets. The serviceability of the structure for an extended period is confirmed on the basis of works based on a calculated assessment of safety factors according to various limit states criteria.
