Abstract

In chromium steel pipelines it is necessary to use fittings made also from chromium steel to ensure uniform physicomechanical properties; however, such fittings are not produced in Russia and are completely imported. The results of developing a technology of manufacturing and investigating the bodies of D_N 250 – 300 fittings made from chromium steel 10Kh9MFB by the electroslag melting method are given.
