Abstract
The phenomenon of transient ferroresonance that arises in a PTL from TCSR magnetization currents is examined. Data on the design and model of the electromagnetic part of a TCSR are given. It is shown that use of automatic reclosing of TCSR during PTL setup under voltage prevents excitation of transient ferroresonance.
