Preparation and optical properties of nanostructured ZnS:Cu films

Electrochemical deposition of nanostructured films of zinc sulfide with the addition of copper (ZnS:Cu) has been developed. This article discusses the surface morphology, structure, and phase composition of the films deposited on glass and sitall substrates with In₂O₃, a tunnel transparent layer. The spectral distribution of the transmittance and reflection coefficients are obtained, based on which the absorption spectra and widths of the band gap of ZnS:Cu in the form of film have been calculated as a function of the treatment temperature. The study of the optical properties of the films has made it possible to calculate the band gap and specify the phase compositions of the obtained films.
