Аннотация
The 100 000-year rhythmicity in paleoclimate variations in the Quaternary can be associated with the respective oscillations in insolation and seafloor volcanism forced by the Solar–Moon gravitation (SMG). This conclusion is based on the wavelet analysis of a long-time series of variations in the eccentricity of the Earth’s orbit, different paleoclimatic characteristics, and the existing spectral estimates of variations in the SMG and seafloor volcanism.
