Topology of the spaces of functions with prescribed singularities on surfaces

The space of smooth functions with prescribed local singularities of the A_μ-types on a smooth two-dimensional surface is studied. We describe the homotopy type of this functional space, endowed with the C^∞-topology, and its decomposition into orbits of the action of the group of “left-right changings of coordinates.”
