Abstract

The activity coefficients of a reactor facility with VVER in normal operating regimes associated with a change of the external load are studied. The model used to evaluate the reactivity coefficients in terms of the moderator density and fuel temperature aided by the connected KORSAR/GP code is described. A three-dimensional model of the neutron kinetics and a realistic model of the main regulators are used. Calculations of the reactivity coefficients for a regime with unloading of the turbogenerator and the regime of primary regulation of the power system frequency are studied as test problems. A physical analysis of the results is performed.
