Abstract
Suggested is a new explanation for the phenomenon of superdeep penetration of shock-accelerated particles into solid targets in terms of the so-called barodiffusion mechanism. The suggested concept of barodiffusion mechanism opens up new horizons for further studies in the field under consideration.
