Aspects of Research on the Accuracy of Mechanisms with Plays (Gaps) in Kinematic Couples

Аннотация

The general aspects of the study of the precision of mechanisms with service plays (gaps) in kinematic couples are considered. A form for the evaluation of these plays is suggested within the framework of the Monte-Carlo technique in the presence of scalar and vector errors that stem from processes related to the fabrication and assembly of motion links. The considered cases expose the possibilities of application of the specified technique to the solution of problems in mechanism theory.
