Healthy donors (n=100) of 21–59 years old and healthy children (n=55) of 2–17 years old were examined. Antinuclear antibodies were determined by indirect immunofluorescence assay. It was found that 7 adults (7%) and 10 children (18%) had diagnostic titers of antinuclear antibodies detected by indirect immunofluorescence assay. In healthy children and adults homogeneous and speckled fluorescence patterns were observed more often.
